The Georgetown Campus of South Seattle Community College, located in the heart of an economic growth zone in Seattle, is committed to developing and expanding the skills of a growing workforce. The Center is a collaboration between business, labor, industry and education. South Seattle Community College's Georgetown Campus currently houses training for over 25 apprenticeship programs.
RESIDENTIAL ENERGY AUDITING:
• Basic energy-related components of single-family residences
• Understanding of conservation measures and analysis techniques
• Understanding combustion systems
• Interactivity of energy consumption and improvements
• Conservation technologies
• Working with customers
• Field work in residences
• Writing audit reports
Students will learn all that is necessary to pass the BPI national certification exam for
energy auditors. South Seattle Community College is an affiliate of The Building
Performance Institute (www.bpi.org)
